NH Ceremonial Matcha 1kg
Description
First-harvest Uji matcha with a deep, rich flavour and balanced umami.
NH Ceremonial is made exclusively from first-harvest tea leaves grown and processed in Uji. A blend of Saemidori, Okumidori and Yabukita cultivars gives the matcha a balanced profile with depth, umami and a rich tea character.
Although machine-ground rather than traditionally stone-ground, it delivers an impressively deep and full flavour, making it suitable for both straight preparation and premium matcha drinks.

Despite being machine-ground, the matcha retains an unusually deep and satisfying flavour. It performs well when prepared simply with water, where its character can be appreciated directly, while also having enough richness for premium milk-based drinks.

Uji-Grown and Uji-Processed Matcha
The tea leaves used for NH Ceremonial are grown in Uji and also processed in Uji. Uji is one of Japan's best-known tea-producing regions and has a long history of matcha and tencha production.
NH Ceremonial uses only first-harvest leaves and combines three established Japanese tea cultivars—Saemidori, Okumidori and Yabukita—to create a matcha with both depth and balance.
What Does “Ceremonial Grade” Mean?
Ceremonial grade is not a legally standardised grade in Japan or Australia. For NH Ceremonial, the term describes a first-harvest matcha intended for straight preparation and premium applications where flavour, umami and depth are important.
When comparing ceremonial matcha, consider the harvest, cultivars, origin, processing method, flavour and intended use rather than relying only on the grade name.
Pack Size and Yield
